From circus to theatre, film to TV, Raïssa has gained experience in costume design across a variety of demanding environments, affording her a wealth of diverse knowledge and references, with a special interest in period dramas and fantasy. Working internationally has also given her the opportunity to work within different cultures and communities, with creatives from all around the world, helping to nurture her own creativity.

As part of these projects, she has successfully managed different types of budget, ranging from low-budget pieces to high-end costume dramas; run multiple sets simultaneously; and worked with various different costume team setups, all of which has helped train her to work under pressure and react to problems in order to solve any potential issues as quickly as possible.

Having worked in the industry for more than twenty years, Raïssa can confidently say that she has worked her way up through every role within the costume department, allowing her to understand what is required from every role and what to expect from every member of her team. This has enabled her to assemble strong teams to work alongside her, which provides her with all the support that she needs as a designer.
